During the 80’s, the restoration of forest areas with the Pinus spp., Cupressus sp., Casuarina sp. and Eucalyptus sp. was started in the Valle de Mezquital, Hidalgo state, Mexico. After 25 years, good results were accomplished with P. greggii. Models were fitted to predict the total stem volume for this species from plantations established in the ejido Fontezuelas, Meztitlán municipality, Hidalgo, Mexico. From stem analysis, a sample of 87 trees was processed in the diameter range of categories from 10 to 35 cm. The models that were used for adjusting Schumacher, Combined Logarithmic Variable, Arithmetic Combined Variable and Meyer. According to the statistical and analytical graphics applied, the four models were shown to be statistically useful to estimate the standing volume. The fittest of the fit and parsimony were combined Variable Logarithmic and Schumacher. From the equations obtained from these two models, their corresponding two entry tables were designed, that stand for the total barkless stem volume, expressed in m3, for P. greggii forest plantations with trees of different age and a BHD between 5 and 55 cm, which can be applied to plantations of this species that are established in the study area. The models allow to estimate the volume of total standing barkless stem, including the stump.
