Pinus radiata D. Don was largely planted in Mexico city during the 70's.
Under urban conditions, the population was studied after more than a decade of having been planted, in twelve out of the sixteen political delegations that make up Distrito Federal. Assessment over a sample of 200 trees of each delegation was made considering dasometric elements as well as visible symptoms, taking samples of injury and associated organisms as plausible cause.
Results show that the largest number of healthy trees are in Xochimilco delegation. 67.50% of forest population show damage, and the most frequent symptom is hyperfollation, with which over holds a dependent relation.
