Abstract

This work is basically an application of input-output regional development model in three states of the southeast of Mexico: Campeche, Quintana Roo and Yucatan.
There is a brief description about the region made up of the three states, specially about the forest resources and industry.
The authors mention sorne input-output application areas which have been successful in expecting results, using these later for an economic planning.
It is defined the region processing sectorwith aggregate industries such as, a payment sector which includes imports, as well as, a payment to households, payment to governrnent and a final demand sector including exports, household purchases and government purchases.
lt is determined for this case, the existence of nine industries or important economic sectors, with which it is performed the input-output analysis.
Finally, through the processing and development oftables included, it is obtained a final one where we can see sectorial multipliers Tipe I and II employment; and the effects of employment in a final demand change, as well as the effects of income.
