In this work a linear programming model was used as a forest planning too! on the determination of a cut plan of wood, which considered methods of treatments of clearcut and "parent trees", implemented through 70 regimes (alternatives), ofmanagement.
Taking into account the following objectives: l. Increase of volumen yield (m1r)
2. Increase of profits ($/m3r); both under the "without" and "with" sustainded yield schemes, for the area of the Zoquiapan Estacion Experimental de Enseñanza e Investigacion Forestal.
The results showed that for the first objective, the 60 and 63 regimes of management must be implemented under the "without" sustained yield scheme, and re gimes 43, 47, 48, 51, 52, 56, 59 and 63 under the "with" sustained yield scheme, having a yield in maximum volumen of 3 733 811.214 round cubic meters (m3r) and 3 733 811.212 m3r, respectively, in both cases.
On the other hand, for the second objective, the "without" sustained yield scheme suggested the application ofthe 43 and 44 regimes ofmanagement, and under the "with" sustained yield scheme, the solution indicate the application of 1, 2, 9, 15, 21, 26, 45, 46, 47, 48, 52, 59, 60, 63 and 64 regimes ofmanagement, having a maximun benefit (profit), of $2 981 925 723.00 and $2 019 704 265.23 (viejos pesos), for the first and second case, respectively.
