ESTIMACIÓN DE LA "CALIDAD DE SITIO" MEDIANTE "ÍNDICES DE SITIO" DE Pinus michoacana cornuta Martínez V Pinus oocarpa Schiede, PARA EL AD F TAPALPA, ESTADO DE JALISCO.

At Area Demostrativa Forestal Tapalpa, in Jalisco state, with site index of Pinus michoacana cornuta Martinez and Pinus oocarpa Schiede, the site quality valuation was maked, trough 25 stem analysis data for first species and 6 stem analysis data for second.
Fitted the site index curves, development the Bailey and Clutter methodology.
Was obtain base-age invariant polymorphic site curves using Schumacher model [ In H = a+ b ( 1/E)k ]. It was use the age at breast height instead the total age, and index age was 45 year.
To located the quality in a map, were using 202 temporary plots of a sistematic sample, in each one choosed 3 or 4 dominant trees, taking them the age and height.
Three qualities were defined: excellent, good an regular.
