Keywords:
Site Index, Pinus patula, Shumacher model, Huayacocotla, Veracruz state, anamorphic curvesAbstract
Pinus patula Schl. et Cham. site index curves were obtained in Huayacocotla region, Veracruz state. lt was realized 72 stmen analisis among coetaneous stands located in different growth conditions. High and age data were fitted with Schumacher model ( 193 9), to compute a family of anamorphyc site index curves; 40 year old base was used and curves were outlined by natural logarithm.
Site index curves tendency represent mean values of 18, 22, 26, 30, 34 and 38 metres; at 40 year old base, when coetaneous stands are located within thc study area.
The accuracy of the prediction equation produced: a high decision coefficient
(Pr ¿: 0.0001), alow mean square ofcrror and a low standard error od the mean.
