Abstract

y A compendium of rescarch results obtained for the National Institute of Forcstr . Agriculture and Livestock (INIF AP) and other research and education agencies was integrated in relationship with theoretical and practica) aspects needed for the crop of forest stands of Pinus montezumae in central Mexico. The main aspects summarized are refered to establishment composition, stand structure. growth and dcvelopment of forest stands through silvicultural practices in order to facilitate the harvcst based on a forest management objective.
