CONTENIDO DE METALES PESADOS EN ALGUNOS SUELOS Y VEGETACIÓN DEL DESIERTO DE LOS LEONES, DISTRITO FEDERAL

Cultural and Recreation Park Desierto de los Leones, Distrito Federal (PCyRDL-D.F.), has a great importance in the wellbeing of inhabitants of México City, this place has been the scenario for different type of research steaming from the death of A bies religiosa forest. These researches are based mainly on the different impacts that metropolitan area does to the PCyRDL-D.F. (Alvarado et al., 1991; Castro et al., 1993: López y Rivera, 1995: Castañeda et al., 1995). According to this information, it was conducted a studio with the purpose of determining the content of some toxic heavy metals and sorne soil diverse chemical properties, as well as the content of the same metals over the surrounding vegetation to the soil sample sites. Present work has as a background sampling on soil conducted by next aurtors (Castro et al., op. cit.). It was considered only here four sites in the PCyRDL-D.F. and one witness site coresponding to the place called San Juan Tetla, state of Puebla too. Soil sampling was made with two depth and it was taken parallel dominant vegetation samples. Soil and vegetation sarnples were processed in the Enviromental Chemical Laboratory from the Discipline National Reserch Center for Conservation and Improvement of Forest Ecosystems (CENID-COMEF, INIFAP) and they were analysed with an atomic absorption equipment.
