Abstract

This study was carried out al Quintana Roo State, Mexico. The aim of this study was to apply the Schumacher, Chapman­Richards and Weibull models and the Curve Guide Method to develops anamorphic and polimorphic site index equations fer pure plantations of mahogany (Swielenia macrophylla King). Results indicate that the model of best fitness based on the Square Means Error (SME), Pseudo R2 (R2), residual analysis, and that provides the most accurate digram of dispersion and observed data, is the Chapman-Richards anamorphic version.
