HONGOS QUE MANCHAN LA MADERA DE LOS PINOS EN EL ESTADO DE MICHOACAN
Abstract
Los hongos que manchan la madera comercial causan grandes pérdidas económicas, en lo que se refiere a aprovechamiento maderable. Aunque no se tienen datos precisos, se considera que el 20% de la madera aserrada es catalogada como de primera clase y el 80% de segunda y tercera. Es conocido que las malas prácticas de abastecimiento y almacenaje permiten que la mayoría de las torzas aserradas, sean contaminadas por hongos que generalmente provienen de árboles con plaga y/o enfermos.
Este trabajo tiene como objetivos, presentar una relación de géneros de los hongos que manchan la madera de los pinos y mostrar algunas de las causas que ocasionan que los hongos se establezcan en la madera y la deterioren.
Para aislar los hongos y desarrollar las colonias y fructificaciones, se utilizaron: cultivo PDA (Papa-Dextrosa-Agar), PGA (Papa-Glucosa-Agar), cámaras húmedas (campana de vacío) y bolsas de plástico.
