VARIACION GENETICA EN Abiesguatemalensis Redher
Abstract
Se determina un primer reconocimiento del patrón de variación morfológica para características de conos, hojas y semillas en tres poblaciones naturales de Abies guatemalensis Redher, del estado de Chiapas. El análisis de varianza muestra diferencias significativas en 12 características de las 20 analizadas a nivel interpoblacional, y, en todas las características a nivel intrapoblacional (árboles dentro de poblaciones), excepto ancho de semillas. Es apreciable una diferenciación morfológica interpoblacional, y de acuerdo con la agrupación de medias, de las tres poblaciones analizadas dos de ellas mantienen una gran afinidad morfológica (Tenalchem-Crusthá y el Porvenir) y se aproximan al taxón Abies guatemalensis var. tacanensis (Lundl.) Martínez, mientras que la población de Tapalapa, corresponde al taxon Abies guatemalensis Redher. Estas diferenciaciones se asocian al aislamiento geográfico existente y reflejan un alto componente genético.
